PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a gateway device that improves security. SOLUTION: An acceleration sensor 34 detects a tilt angle of the device. An alarm generation section 32 requests an e-mail showing the occurrence of abnormal conditions to be transmitted when the acceleration sensor 34 detects the tilt angle that exceeds a predetermined threshold.
