PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a column type submerged pump which allows the verification of a mounting position of a submerged pump attachable to/detachable from a lifting pipe from the ground. SOLUTION: A column type submerged pump 2 keeps a suction bell 7 at a lower end of a column 3, a guide blade 12 fixing an annular guide blade hub 24 to an inner peripheral end above the suction bell 7, and a clearance measuring device 18 in a submerged pump 4 having an outer diameter of an impeller 11 smaller than an inner diameter of the guide blade hub 24. Since the clearance of the impeller 11 can be easily verified from the ground, maintenance and inspection can be easily performed and stable operation can be performed while constantly securing the optimum clearance of the impeller 11. The miniaturization and weight reduction of the submerged pump 4 cause the improvement of workability to obtain a useful pump at an emergency and updating. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
