PURPOSE: A nonpoint source pollutant removal apparatus from rainwater is provided to reduce the water pollution by nonpoint source pollutants, and to extend the usage period of media inside the removal apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A nonpoint source pollutant removal apparatus from rainwater comprises the following: a rainwater reservoir(4) installed on the end of a rainwater inflow pipe(2); an upward flowing type filtration tank(6) filled with porous buoyant filter media, for filtering pollutants from the rainwater by inducing the generation of an upward flow in the rainwater; an outflow upper plate(8) guiding the filtered water to the discharging direction; a processed water tank(12) storing the filtered water before discharging through a discharging pipe; a non-power flow rate controller(14) opening and closing the rainwater inflow pipe; and a circuit waterway(16) guiding the flow of the rainwater to the processed water tank. |
