BIOMARKERS FOR PREDICTING THERAPEUTIC EFFECT IN HYPOSENSITIZATION THERAPY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biomarker for predicting the therapeutic effect in the hyposensitization therapy of an immediate allergy patient, and to provide an enhancing agent in the hyposensitization therapy of an immediate-type allergy.

SOLUTION: The method for detecting the efficacy of the hyposensitization therapy comprises measuring the expression level of interleukin 12 gene or interleukin 12 in a test sample from an immediate allergy patient, or measuring the presence or absence of the expression of MHC-II DRB1*12 gene. In addition, the enhancing agent of the hyposensitization therapy of an immediate allergy contains interleukin 12.
