PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous dispersion of fine particles containing a polyester resin and exhibiting excellent coatability and storage stability in formation of composite resin particles. SOLUTION: In a polyester resin aqueous dispersion (X), resin particles (A) containing the polyester resin (a) prepared by polycondensation of a polyol component (g) and a polycarboxylic acid component (h) are dispersed in an aqueous medium (W) containing an organic solvent (S) if necessary. In the aqueous dispersion, the polyol component (g) of the polyester resin (a) contains 80 mol% or more of a 2-10C aliphatic diol (g1), while the polycarboxylic acid component (h) contains 80 mol% or more in total of two or more kinds of dicarboxylic acids (h1) selected from aromatic dicarboxylic acids and their ester forming derivatives and a trivalent or higher polycarboxylic acid (h2), and a content of a titanium element is 100-4,000 ppm based on the weight of the polyester resin (a).
