PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the dragging of a synchronizing device due to excessive friction force between the cone face of a blocking ring and the cone face of a gear without the need for special members. SOLUTION: The synchronizing device S includes a hub 12 joined to a rotating shaft 11 of a transmission, a sleeve 13 supported on the hub 12 in a relatively non-rotatable and axially slidable manner, and the blocking ring 17 arranged between the hub 12 and the gear 16. When lubricating oil is supplied between the hub 12 and the gear 16 through an oil hole 11b opened to the outer peripheral face of the rotating shaft 11, an annular flange 17c formed at the end of the blocking ring 17 on the side of the hub 12 extending inside in the radial direction guides the lubricating oil to the cone faces 16c, 17b on which the blocking ring 17 and the gear 16 abut, respectively. This prevents great friction force on the cone faces 16c, 17b during non-operation of the synchronizing device S to avoid the occurrence of dragging, without the need for a special member such as a spring.
