The device has a junction member (1) made of polymer and provided with internal and external surfaces that are respectively located at two sides of a junction plane between two glazed elements (90, 91) made of polymer. A trim (2) covering one of the surfaces is made of a rigid material e.g. metal or plastic. Maintaining units i.e. projections, of the trim are placed at opposite edges (23, 24) of the trim. The trim and the junction member are formed so that a central part (25) of the trim is spaced from the corresponding surface of the junction member at a predetermined distance.
