摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive circuit which reduces an error operation within the circuit and ensures more reliable operation in the drive circuit having a thin-film transistor having difficulty in controlling a threshold voltage, and being normally on.

SOLUTION: The drive circuit has a static shift register circuit including an inverter circuit having a first transistor and a second transistor, and a switch having a third transistor. The first to third transistors have semiconductor layers comprised of oxide semiconductors, and are depression type transistors, and an amplitude voltage of a clock signal that drives the third transistor is greater than a power-supply voltage for driving the inverter circuit.
