<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for editing video achieving an edition service of a high-quality image via a network, easy to use, and capable of charging a suitable and impartial service charge. <P>SOLUTION: This device for editing video performs simulation edition for simulating edition executed to high-resolution video to low-resolution video of resolution lower than that of high-resolution video, and is connected, via a network, to a client for generating an edition command to describe a concrete content of the simulation edition. The device for editing video includes: a remote server for automatically performing edition substantially identical to the content of the simulation edition to high-resolution video by the edition command; and a charging unit for previously obtaining a service charge related to edition for the high-resolution video by using the edition command before the remote server performs the edition, and notifying the client about the obtained service charge. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
