<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for collecting an image for learning, especially, a technology for efficiently collecting negative case image including a similar pattern which is likely to be erroneously recognized as a prescribed pattern. <P>SOLUTION: An image recognition apparatus 10 is provided with: a storage means 18 for storing a dictionary to be used for recognition of a prescribed pattern; a recognition means 12 for executing recognition processing by using the dictionary, and for detecting a plurality of partial regions whose likelihood with the prescribed pattern is higher than a prescribed threshold as the result of recognition from the inside of image data; a display means 13 for displaying image data, and for displaying information showing the partial regions detected by the recognition means; a determination means 15 for determining a negative case region from among the plurality of partial regions detected by the recognition means according to an instruction input from a user; a generation means 16 for generating an image for learning on the basis of the negative case region determined by the determination means; and an updating means 17 for updating the dictionary on the basis of the image for learning generated by the generation means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
