GYPSUM COMPOSITION CONTROLLABLE OF GENERATION OF HYDROGEN SULFIDE, GYPSUM-BASED BUILDING MATERIAL, AND GYPSUM-BASED SOLIDIFYING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gypsum composition which is inexpensive and can be used in an application for a solidifying material used in the soil modification or a building material or the like consumed in a large quantity and has a specification to hardly produce hydrogen sulfide compared with the conventional one and high practical value when being wasted or used for the soil modification or the like, and further to provide a gypsum-based building material having the excellent characteristics in a state of keeping the conventional quality and construction work efficiency.

SOLUTION: The gypsum composition controllable of generation of hydrogen sulfide is obtained by adding (B) 0.8-20 pts.mass at least one kind of an aluminum compound selected from a group composed of aluminum oxide, aluminum chloride, aluminum hydroxide, aluminum sulfate and derivative thereof to (A) 100 pts.mass calcined gypsum.
