PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating device equipped with a pivot structure in which a position of a cover can be fixed. SOLUTION: The pivot structure is installed on a case body 10 and an opening/closing cover 20 fixed on the case body in a free movement. An opening is provided on the case body, and on the one face of the opening, there is installed a position fixing rotating shaft 11 and moreover, an engaging part 111 is installed on the position fixing rotating shaft. An elastic platy body 21 is provided on the one side face of the opening/closing cover. The elastic platy body has a through-hole 211 and an elastic arm 212 is formed in the through-hole. The position fixing rotating shaft of the case body is inserted into the through-hole of the opening/closing cover and is positioned inside the elastic arm. At least one engaging groove 213 is arranged inside the elastic arm and is engaged with the engaging part of the position fixing rotating shaft. Further, since this pivot structure is installed on the case body and the opening/closing cover of the operation device, a position fixing can be carried out certainly when the opening/closing cover rotates.
