PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a post-stage circuit to perform suitable signal processing by appropriately inputting a signal to the post-stage circuit even in the case where the post-stage circuit of an amplification circuit for amplifying a signal from a pixel or a signal corresponding thereto is configured to operate with a power supply voltage lower than a power supply voltage of a pixel part. SOLUTION: A solid state imaging device 1 includes: a pixel 11 for performing photoelectric conversion on incident light; and an amplification circuit 16 to which a signal from the pixel 11 or a signal corresponding thereto is input, and which has a function for amplifying the input signal with a gain whose absolute value is smaller than 1.
