PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus capable of eliminating the necessity of user's troublesome operation such as release of ringing of an alarm and reliably informing the user that the time of alarm ringing has come. SOLUTION: The communication apparatus capable of automatically ringing an alarm when a predetermined time comes includes: an alarm ringing means for ringing the alarm, and a control means. When detecting that the alarm ringing time comes during executing a specific operation, the control means prohibits the ringing of the alarm by the alarm ringing means, and when detecting that the specific operation has been completed, the control means keeps by the alarm ringing means the state the ringing of the alarm is prohibited.
