PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily change the opening and closing direction of a door even after installation. SOLUTION: The railroad implement box 1 includes: a box body 2 for storing railroad implements; and the door 3 attached to the box body 2. The box body 2 and the door 3 are openably and closably connected to each other by a hinge section 4 fixed to one end portion. The operation of the door 3 is controlled to the closed state by engagement of a second engagement portion 6 and a first engagement portion 5 attached to the respective other end portions of the box body 2 and the door 3. A box-side hinge piece 41 of the hinge section 4 attached to the box body 2, and the second engagement portion 6 are detachably attached to the box body 2. The attaching condition of the box-side hinge piece 41 and the box body 2 is identical with the attaching condition of the second engagement portion 6 and the box body 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
