PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple crushing apparatus capable of crushing particulate objects to be crushed into powdery crushed products of good quality. SOLUTION: A crushed product and an object to be crushed made to swirl by an air stream in a crushing space 121 of a crushing casing 120 is transferred via a plurality of circulation ducts 150 to a classifying space 141 of a classifying casing 140. Hence, the flow velocity or the like in the circulation ducts 150 of the crushed product and the object to be crushed carried by the air stream can be controlled by choosing the inner diameter, the number, and the relative angle to the swirling air stream, and the like, of the circulation ducts 150. Therefore, the circulation of the particles from the crushing space 121 to the classifying space 141 can be accelerated by increasing the flow velocity in the circulation duct 150, and the crushing apparatus 100 can stably be run without allowing the crushed product and the object to be crushed to remain in or to block the crushing space 121.
