PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for determining the true/false of a special prize in a special prize distribution system. SOLUTION: As a general distribution system of the special prize 110, a game hall purchases the special prize from a prize wholesaler 110 and provides a player with it as a prize, the player brings the special prize which is a valuable article to a special prize exchange booth 120 and sells and cashes it, the special prize exchange booth sells the special prize purchased from the player to a prize wholesaler 130, and the prize wholesaler sells the special prize purchased from the prize exchange booth to a game parlor. The special prize incorporates an IC tag capable of non-contact communication, the IC tag requires an authentication means for identifying the true/false of the special prize before reading value information stored in a memory of the IC tag, the authentication means requires at least a shared key, a tag intrinsic ID, a tag key, a random number and a hash operation code when performing authentication, and data are not encrypted when reading the value information after the authentication is established.
