<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a borehole fixing apparatus which is installed in the borehole bottom and retrieved from the borehole bottom easily, has high fixing force, provides long-term observation, is suitable for a small-diameter borehole, and is economical. <P>SOLUTION: The borehole fixing apparatus fixes an observation instrument body 10 having a built-in sensor which is provided with an upper fixing mechanism 22 and a lower fixing mechanism 24 having press-fixing bodies which project outward, in which the entire observation instrument body is hung with a wire 12, and the observation instrument body is fixed onto the borehole bottom through the projection operation of the press-fixing bodies. The upper fixing mechanism converts a vertical force caused by the resilient force of a spring and the instrument's own weight into a horizontal force using a tapered structure and expands a press-fixing plate 34 to be press-fixed onto the borehole wall. The lower fixing mechanism converts a vertical force caused by the own weight of the instrument into a horizontal force using a tapered structure and projects a press-fixing ball 42 to be press-fixed onto the borehole wall. A water damper mechanism 36 for delaying the opening/closing of the press-fixing plate is incorporated into the upper fixing mechanism. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
