PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video conversion device that executes smooth viewpoint switching without increasing a storage capacity. SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 100 for converting the viewpoint of an input video image includes: a viewpoint parameter storage part 30 that stores a plurality of viewpoint parameters, corresponding respectively to a plurality of viewpoints, in order to change the viewpoint of the video image; a viewpoint selection part 501 that selects the viewpoint parameter of any start viewpoint and the viewpoint parameter of any end viewpoint from among the plurality of viewpoint parameters stored in the viewpoint parameter storage part 30; a viewpoint parameter interpolation part 502 that interpolates between the viewpoint parameter of the start viewpoint and the viewpoint parameter of the end viewpoint, respectively selected by the viewpoint selection part, to generate an interpolated viewpoint parameter; and a viewpoint conversion part 503 that generates a video image with a converted viewpoint by sequentially converting the viewpoint of the input video image on the basis of the interpolated viewpoint parameter sequentially generated by the viewpoint parameter interpolation part 502 and outputs the video image with the converted viewpoint, thereby providing the video image with the converted viewpoint in which the viewpoint gradually switches from the start viewpoint to the end viewpoint.
