PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To well suppress the noise produced from an inclined magnetic field coil or the like in a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus. SOLUTION: The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus has a static magnetic field magnet, the inclined magnetic field coil, a high-frequency coil and a hermetically closed container 301 housing the inclined magnetic field coil and the hermetically closed container has reinforcing protrusions 303 provided to the end surface thereof.
