PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for automatically confirming safety in case of disaster. SOLUTION: A mobile terminal has: a means which requests input of safety information in response to a safety confirmation request from a safety confirmation server; a means for transmitting safety information to the safety confirmation server when the safety information is input within a predetermined time; and a means for transmitting, to the safety confirmation server, location information acquired by a means for acquiring location information of the mobile terminal if the safety information is not input within the predetermined time. The safety confirmation server has: a means for sending a safety confirmation request for a user to the mobile terminal upon receiving disaster information; a means for receiving information sent from the mobile terminal in response to the safety confirmation request; and a means for determining whether or not the mobile terminal is included in a disaster area if the received information does not contain safety information of the user, and transmits, if included in the disaster area, information specifying the mobile terminal and the location information of the terminal to an emergency contact destination.
