PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head maintenance device sealing a head surface of a liquid jetting head in a sufficient and stable tight-contact state regardless of an opening/closing state of an atmosphere communicating path, by an inexpensive constitution. SOLUTION: In an atmosphere opening valve unit 70, an operation shaft body 95 of a push latch mechanism part 90 displaces in an operating direction E, whereby a rocking member 72 rocks in a rocking direction F, to allow a valve body supporting part 74 to move back and forth in an opening/closing direction G, and a valve body 743 elastically deforms in a direction in which it comes in contact with/separates from an inner peripheral surface of a valve seat part 75. In such a state that a center portion of the valve body 743 separates from the inner peripheral surface of a valve seat 753, the atmosphere opening valve unit 70 becomes in an open state through a closed space formed between the inner peripheral surface of the valve seat 753 and the valve body 743. In such a state that the center portion of the valve body 743 comes into surface-contact with the inner peripheral surface of the valve seat 753 and is seated, a first through-hole 754 and a second through-hole 755 are blocked by the valve body 743, so that the atmosphere opening valve unit 70 gets in a closed state.
