PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain trap which is reduced in the collision resistance of the inflow water in a bowl body and also in the collision resistance of the flow-out water relative to a drain pipe, achieves smooth water drainage without decelerating water-flow speed and exhibits good water drain efficiency and has a large water drain amount. SOLUTION: The drain trap includes a drain resistance restraining means 12 wherein a bowl body 1 with a shooter 2 internally fitted is attached to the lower part of an installation body 3, and the bowl body 1 is internally fitted in the drain pipe 4, arranged on the bottom 11 of the bowl body 1 for branching the inflow water M flowing down from the shooter 2 into water current in reverse direction on the mutually reverse downward slant curved surface parts 15, 15a, and introducing the branched water M1, M2 into different dedicated drain water passages A, B arranged between fitting parts of the bowl body 1 and the shooter 2 respectively, and also include a water introduction gutter means 24 arranged above the shooter 2 corresponding to the draining window holes 16, 16a at the upper part of the bowl body 1 wherein the branched water M1, M2 raised in the respective dedicated drain water passages A, B is guided in the peripheral direction of the bowl body 1 to be drained from the draining window holes 16, 16a into the drain pipe 4.
