PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel compound that has a lipoprotein-related phospholipase A2-inhibiting action and is useful for prevention and treatment of atherosclerosis, coronary syndromes such as myocardial infarction, unstable angina and the like, peripheral arterial obstruction, stroke, cerebral infarction and the like, and a medicine containing the compound. SOLUTION: The compound is represented by formula (I). In the formula, R<SP>1</SP>is an optionally substituted 5 to 10-membered aromatic group; R<SP>2</SP>is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a hydroxy group, an optionally substituted 1-6C alkoxy group or the like; R<SP>3</SP>is a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom; X<SP>1</SP>is an optionally substituted 1-2C alkylene group; X<SP>2</SP>is an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom or optionally substituted methylene; and Y is an optionally substituted 1-3C alkylene group.
