PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship which does not create environmental problems and which is even a ballast-free ship not loaded with ballast water, by securing a function to adjust a hull equivalent to a ship having ballast tanks. SOLUTION: One open end of compressed-air supply piping 20 is opened to an air cushion chamber 15 divided by a horizontal partition plate 14 and a vertical partition plate 13. Below the horizontal partition plate 14, a current plate 18 is horizontally disposed with a space part through which seawater passes therebetween. In an air chamber 4 provided inside a side wall 2, the other end of a vent pipe 17 is provided in an opened manner at the same position in the height direction as an upper face of the current plate 18.
