The body (10) has a cylindrical sleeve (11) and a winding (15) that is made of stretching material. The winding is applied around exterior surface of the sleeve, and a cover completely surrounds the winding. The winding includes two side surfaces (12) and a lateral surface (14), where the cover is arranged on the side surfaces and the lateral surface of the winding. The cover is fastened with the lateral surface of the winding. The cover is made of stainless steel wire mesh, knitted fabric and plastic such as perforated plastic foil, plastic fabric or Teflon(RTM: PTFE). An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a cylindrical molded body.
