The unit (1) has an electric motor (2) operatively connected with a transmission arrangement (3) by using a rotor shaft (4) of the electric motor. The rotor shaft is supported by an angular ball bearing arrangement with angular-ball bearings (5, 6). The ball bearings are arranged with a contact angle within a range of 15 to 25 degrees. A gear wheel (9) i.e. sun wheel (10), of the transmission arrangement is supported at the rotor shaft in a torque-proof manner, where the gear wheel is arranged concentric to the rotation axis (8) of the rotor shaft.
