Disclosed is a mounting method for a stud bolt that is assembled upon a metal mounting plate, wherein insertion holes (11b) in the stud bolt (20) formed upon the mounting plate (11) have raised sections (11c) with edges that protrude from one surface of the mounting plate (11) by means of burring, and the stud bolt (20) has seat sections (22) that abut the other surface of the mounting plate (11) and plastic deformation sections (23) that protrude from the insertion holes (11b) in the same direction as the raised sections (11c). The plastic deformation sections (23) and the raised sections (11c) are subjected to plastic deformation by swaging, and the raised sections (11c), which overlap on one surface of the mounting plate (11) by folding around the exterior of the insertion holes (11b), are supported by the plastic deformation sections (23) and the seat sections (22).
