ULTRAVIOLET CURABLE RESIN COMPOSITION, CURED PRODUCT AND OPTICAL DISC

Disclosed is a novel ultraviolet curable resin composition which contains (A) a polysulfide compound, preferably a polysulfide compound represented by general formula (1) (wherein n represents an integer of 2-6; R1, R2, R3 and R4 each independently represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms; and Xs each represents an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom), (B) a photopolymerizable compound and (C) a photopolymerization initiator. The resin composition is suitable for a resin coating layer of an optical disc (for example, an adhesive layer of a bonded DVD or a light-transmitting layer of a Blu-ray disc). In particular, the resin composition is capable of improving the durability of an optical disc, which has a reflective film that is formed from silver or a silver alloy, by the action of the polysulfide compound.
