The brake fluid reservoir (1) has a main chamber (3) which stays in fluid communication with a brake hydraulic system (9,10) of a brake mechanism. A sub-area of a wall of the main chamber is made of an elastic material. The main chamber is completely filled with a brake fluid, where a pre-chamber (5) is partially filled with brake fluid.
