2,3-Dibromopropanol is prepared by mixing allyl alcohol with 2,3-dibromopropanol in a molar ratio of 1:1 to 1:8, introducing about an equimolar quantity, with respect to the allyl alcohol, of elemental bromine into the resulting mixture, and maintaining a reaction temperature of 10 DEG to 20 DEG C. |
