<p>The invention relates to a deformable assembly (12) which comprises an assembly of flexible metal leaves (16), each including a central portion having a side arm extending from each end thereof. Said leaves are placed standing on edge, stacked against one another and attached by means of the central portion thereof to the end of a plate (9) supported by a wheeled base (5). The lateral arms thereof remain elastically deformable. The deformable assembly preferably comprises an extension abutment device (28, 29) which limits the extension of the leaves by means of acting on the end leaf (23). An intercommunicating gangway (1) between two consecutive plates (9, 10) is manufactured using one or two of said deformable assemblies (12, 13), each one of which is mounted on one of the opposing ends (17, 18) of the two plates (9, 10) and independent from the other leaf and/or from the other plate (10) opposite thereof.
