The invention relates to a method and device for training the standing and walking ability of a person. The body weight of the person, the body height of the person, and the body center of gravity of the person are determined. The person (3) is arranged in a position in which the weight force of the person (3) does not rest, or rests at most partially, on the feet (2) of the person (3). Then a rotatably supported, physical body (1, 10) is arranged on the feet (2) of the person (3) and connected to the feet (2) of the person (3). The body (1, 10) is deflected from the initial position thereof by means of an external force that depends on the body weight and/or the body height and/or the body center of gravity. The rotatably supported body (1, 10) is returned to the initial position thereof by the person (3) against a force that acts on the physical body (1, 10) and that depends on the body weight and/or the body height and/or the body center of gravity. |
