PROCESS FOR PRODUCTION OF ORGANIC PHOTOELECTRIC CONVERSION ELEMENT

Disclosed is a process for producing an organic photoelectric conversion element comprising a pair of electrodes and an active layer placed between the pair of electrodes and containing an organic compound, which comprises the following steps (A) to (C) in this order: (A) subjecting a solution containing the organic compound to an ultrasonic wave treatment at a first frequency; (B) subjecting the solution that contains the organic compound and has been subjected to the step (A) to an ultrasonic wave treatment at a second frequency that is different from the first frequency; and (C) forming the active layer from the solution that contains the organic compound and has been subjected to the step (B). The process enables the production of an organic photoelectric conversion element having excellent photoelectric conversion efficiency.
