摘要 <p>An image processing device is provided with: an image input unit that inputs two-viewpoint images having a disparity; a disparity acquisition unit that acquires the disparity of each pixel or region of the aforementioned two-viewpoint images; a main imaged object detection unit that detects the main imaged object of the aforementioned two-viewpoint images; a disparity acquisition unit that acquires the disparity of the aforementioned main imaged object; a setting unit that sets disparity conversion factors corresponding to the position of each viewpoint in a multi-viewpoint image to be generated; a correction unit that corrects the aforementioned disparity conversion factors for each pixel, region or image on the basis of the disparity of the aforementioned main imaged object; a multi-viewpoint image generation unit that generates a multi-viewpoint image by converting at least one of the aforementioned two-viewpoint images in accordance with the aforementioned corrected disparity conversion factors; an image adjustment unit that shifts the aforementioned two-viewpoint image or multi-viewpoint image in the horizontal direction such that the disparity of the main imaged object of the aforementioned multi-viewpoint image is optimal for stereopsis; and a stereoscopic display image generation unit that generates a stereoscopic display image on the basis of the aforementioned multi-viewpoint image.</p>
