<p>The invention relates to a device for gripping a container (2) by the neck thereof, said device comprising a gripping head (1) including: a flat contact surface which can provide a sealed contact on a rim (4) of the neck (3) of the container (2), and means (13, 20) for generating a vacuum inside the container. The device combines a rigid plate (8) and a deformable plate (10), said deformable plate (10) being applied against a surface of the rigid plate (8) and being capable of providing a sealed contact with the rim and of having a flat contact surface for the rim (4) of the preform (2). The device of the invention is characterised in that the deformable plate (10) is communicated with the exterior of the gripping head (1), on the side opposite that of the rigid plate (8), by means of a hole (19) that extends through the rigid plate (8).</p> |
