<p>Provided is a display device with a touch panel, wherein the device has a simple structure and is provided, on a front substrate of a display panel, with a touch electrode capable of accurately detecting a touch position. The device is provided with a display panel (120) comprising the front substrate (1), a back substrate (11), and an image display area constituted by a plurality of pixels, and a touch panel portion (110) comprising the touch electrode (2) formed on the outer surface of the front substrate (1). The touch electrode (2) is formed on a portion (7, 13) of at least one of the front substrate (1) or the back substrate (11), the portion (7, 13) being other than the opening portion of the pixels, by a metal material (6) arranged at a position overlapping the display panel (120) in the thickness direction.</p> |
