The method involves influencing energy resources by consumers e.g. electric motor, and producers e.g. wind turbine. The consumers are controlled with respect to energy consumption by a central control unit by using a data interface. Maintenance of energy quotas for individual consumers or group of consumers within an assembly is monitored by the control unit. The maintenance of the energy quotas is regulated when exceeding below or above the energy quotas by controlling the consumers. The producers are controlled by a control unit with respect to energy production.
