In order to achieve a universally usable wheel mounting assembly using identical parts, for each wheel mounting assembly (10; 60) the auxiliary frame is designed as an independent modular frame (32; 64), on which the at least one wheel guide element (12, 14, 20; 62) is articulated, the suspension and damping system (44, 46; 62) is supported and at least one actuator (42, 48, 52) is disposed directly or indirectly for actuating the suspension and damping system and/or the steering system and thus for setting predetermined wheel-specific wheel guiding and/or steering parameters.
