The disclosed high-frequency surgery device is provided with: a high-frequency-current-generating unit that generates high-frequency current for transmission to in vivo tissue that is the object of surgery; a high-frequency probe that is for transmitting high-frequency current to the in vivo tissue and for performing a procedure by means of high-frequency current; a time measurement unit that measures the output time of high-frequency current; an impedance detection unit that detects the electrical impedance of the in vivo tissue, and an output control unit that controls so as to stop the output of high-frequency current when it is detected that the output time has exceeded a first threshold and it is detected that the electrical impedance value has exceeded a second threshold.
