TRANSMISSION POWER CONTROL

There is provided solution for controlling transmission power characteristics of a local area base station. The solution comprises determining the level of radio interference on a first frequency band used by a local area base station and on at least one second frequency band adjacent to the first frequency band. The solution may further comprise controlling the transmission power characteristics of the local area base station by taking into account at least one of the determined levels of interference.
