A component carrier configuration method in carrier aggregation and a device thereof are provided. The method involves that a user equipment (UE) receives configuration messages of component carriers (S101), and whole or part of component carriers of the component carriers mentioned above are random accessed (S102), and whether the carrier configuration is successful is estimated according to the random access result (S103). With the invention, the problem that the configuration and the mobility management of component carrier in carrier aggregation of long term evolution advance (LTE-A) system is not satisfied with the radio resource control (RRC) process of long term evolution (LTE) system is resolved, thereby excellent communication performance and mobile property of UE in carrier aggregation can be ensured. |
