The device (10) has supply lines (22, 32) guiding a component (25) i.e. base component, and another component (35) i.e. activator component, from a cartridge (20) and a container (30) into a vessel (40), where material characteristics data of the device is read using radio frequency identification technology. A motor drive element (55) presses the components from the cartridge and the container. Another cartridge (21) is arranged in the device in a replaceable manner. A monitoring unit (70) shifts the base component in the former cartridge to the latter cartridge, during utilization.
