Provided is a nonaqueous electrolyte solution for a secondary battery wherein the electrolyte solution exhibits superior compatibility even when a lithium salt is dissolved, and excellent inflammable and cycling properties. Also provided is a secondary battery comprising said nonaqueous electrolyte solution for a secondary battery. The nonaqueous electrolyte solution for a secondary battery is characterized by containing a lithium salt, a specific hydrofluoromonoether, and a specific hydrofluoropolyether. Further, the secondary battery contains said nonaqueous electrolyte solution for a secondary battery.
