The disclosed electric power steering control device is provided with: an assist map (11) that outputs auxiliary torque current on the basis of steering torque; an oscillation extraction filter (21) that filter-processes the rotational velocity of a motor that generates assist torque or steering torque, and reduces low-frequency gain, outputting an oscillation component signal; a variable-current gain map (32) that detects the current flowing through the motor as a first state quantity, and calculates a variable-current gain that is based on the current; a variable-rotational-velocity gain map (31) that detects the rotational velocity of the motor or a steering wheel as a second state quantity, and calculates a variable-rotational-velocity gain that is based on the rotational velocity; a correction means (41) that calculates an oscillation suppression current on the basis of the oscillation component signal, the variable-current gain, and the variable-rotational-velocity gain; and a current control means (3) that calculates the auxiliary torque current using a signal corrected using the oscillation suppression current as a target current, and controls the current flowing through the motor.
