<p>A crimp terminal configured so that the spring back of conductor crimp tabs is minimized to easily and simultaneously achieve both desired electrical connection performance and desired mechanical connection performance of the connection between the terminal and the electric cable. A crimp terminal is provided with a conductor connection section (11) which is connected to a terminal on the mating connector side, a conductor crimp section (13) which is crimped to the exposed conductor of an electric cable, and a coating crimp section (15) which is crimped to the portion of the electric cable which is provided with an insulative coating. Protrusions (22) are provided to the inner surface of conductor crimp tabs (13B) of the conductor crimp section (13). Work hardening and rib effect which are obtained by the protrusions (22) increase the rigidity of the peripheries of the protrusions (22), and as a result, the spring back of the conductor crimp tabs (13B) after the crimping can be minimized.</p> |
