The device (10) has an X-ray radiation source (12), a time delay and integration camera (13) and a collecting and/or conveying device arranged relative to each other such that products to be analyzed are fed to a perpendicular drop path through the collecting and/or conveying device. The source emits x-ray radiations that penetrate through a partial area of the drop path, and the camera detects the x-ray radiations penetrated through the partial area. The collecting and/or conveying device has a collecting container (11) arranged above the drop path. An independent claim is also included for a method for analyzing products.
