<p>An equipment and method for telephone service broadband communication is provided in embodiments of the present invention. The equipment includes: a broadband communication module, which is used for realizing the interaction channel between a terminal and a broadband network; a wireless communication module, which is used for realizing the interaction channel between the terminal and a wireless network; a monitoring module, which is connected with the broadband communication module and is used to trigger a switching module upon detecting that the interaction channel between the terminal and the broadband network is invalid; and the switching module, which is used to make the interaction channel between the terminal and the broadband network connective and make the interaction channel between the terminal and the wireless network connective when the monitoring module triggers the switching module. By the embodiments in the present invention, the telephone service can be carried out in wireless network upon detecting that the Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) telephone service is unavailable.</p> |
