PURPOSE: A character inputting device including a language change key is provided to prevent a mistyping by reducing the fault in a language mode state. CONSTITUTION: A character inputting device comprises a language change key(11). A language mode is changed or maintained while the contact point of the language change key is electrified. If the circuit contact point is discontinued, the language mode is restored to a previous language mode.
