PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a ferrule support structure for an optical connector and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce assembling defects of a ferrule and a flange. CONSTITUTION: A mold unit(100) is comprised of a first mold and a second mold. The first mold receives a ferrule. The second mold is contacted with the first mold to form a flange forming space. A ferrule transferring unit(300) transfers the ferrule to the first mold. An injection unit(500) injects synthetic reins to form the flange combined with the ferrule in the mold unit.
